An Ancient Craft

Dry stone walling is an ancient craft that dates back thousands of years. The walls are constructed using interlocking stones with smaller wedges pinning them in-place and packing to fill in the voids. No mortar is used in a dry stone wall and as such very few tools are required in construction. The simplicity makes them the ideal construction method for garden and field walls.
